Major Fire at Logistics Warehouse in Mundka

On the night of Wednesday July 8th, a major fire broke out at a logistics warehousing facility in India at Delhi’s Mundka district. The warehouse is said to house electronics and medical equipment. There are 35 fire fighters on the scene trying to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, and no casualties have been reported.

Fires are a massive risk in warehouses and storage facilities. Both to human life, and business continuity. Lost structures, and inventory may be covered by insurance, but the disruption to supply chains can be catastrophic.
